Official Info: Percy, played by Nicholas Stellmacher is made from ragged and lost pieces from Janice's dolls. He's the Laughingstock's courier and scout, and not considered a very good pirate, constantly accosted by fears and trembles. This puppet was the one which provoked more bad criticism in the original pilot episode, because of his "scrappy" look. According to their creators "Pirate [Percy] incarnates both Janice's outer personality and disadvantages". His relationship with the other characters is ambigous; he's constantly scared of them and sometimes he attacks them with his knife; more than once, he tried to stop Janice from her mission by attacking her with his weapons.
Unofficial Info: In this version of Candle Cove, Percy is a schizophrenic and neurotic little boy who's obsessed with pirates. He constantly watches a little dvd he has that plays static, but he's convinced that it's a television show, staring himself and his imaginary friend Janice. He is pited against (in his imagination) a horrid monster named the Skintaker who wants to take his only friend Janice, on this television show which doesn't exist. In reality, his parents are neglecting parents who laugh off the fact their son has a serious case of schitzophenia, and Percy is a friendless boy who is outcasted and bullied by his peers in school because of his unnatural behavior. He becomes so preoccupied with Candle Cove and his imaginary world, that he has trouble segregating reality from fantasy, and he eventually becomes violent in fear that real people are the servants of the skintaker, and he eventually is sent to an asylum before the age of 21.
